Microsoft-Decision-1
Microsoft’s small decision-scoring model: calibrated probabilities over fixed options.
Microsoft-Decision-1 is a decision model post-trained from Alibaba’s open-weight Qwen3.5-9B. Given text and a fixed set of answer options — yes/no, multiple choice, a rating, or a rubric for grading AI responses and agent actions — it returns a calibrated probability for each option in a single pass. Microsoft reports the highest accuracy in its own 36-benchmark comparison and P50 latency about 35× faster than GPT-6 Sol (vendor-reported). Microsoft advises against using it as the sole basis for consequential decisions about people.
